The most popular of the LG flagship is the V series that is currently the biggest topic of discussion of the tech world as the third installment of it is set to release at the end of the month. While the discussion on the features is going high, there is a good news for the fans of the series, and that is the brand has confirmed 6-inch FullVision P-OLED QHD+ display.
The high-end The South Korean premium device is ahead of the release on August 31 in Berlin. LG V30 will don a “plastic OLED FullVision” display that is going to be 6-inches in size. The company claims it will get a 6-inch screen size (1440 x 2880) and that will be the largest one to be seen on the LG-made flagship. The company’s previous smartphone that featured an OLED display was the G Flex 2 which came in 2015. More over that, the display will be protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The report suggests the V30 display will be taller, but the actual footprint will be smaller than the V20 that came last year. LG has also hinted that the V30 will have an edge-to-edge display, but it will not be too extreme like it was seen on the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. They are surely following in the footsteps of the G6.
In comparison to that V20 got the main screen of a 5.7″ diagonal and QHD IPS-LCD with Gorilla Glass 4. It was identical to that of the V10. The second screen was a single line, of 2.1″ in diagonal, and very wide, with a resolution of 160 x 1,040px (it’s not the full 1,440px wide since a part is cut off for the selfie cam and sensors).
LG has decided to bring the V30 at an event in Berlin on August 31, with the IFA trade show. The fans cannot wait any longer as the V series is one of the most prominent series of them that is going quite well for the last three years, where they have experimented a lot and has been successful most of the time. Thus the expectation is quite high now. As LG V30 is going to be a high-end phone and the price will be no less than $700 are bound to bring something extraordinary or else Samsung’s next release S9 will take the market by storm.
